Upgrade to Premium Deluxe

Hi!
I have Flight simulator Standard edition but want to upgrade to Premium Deluxe.

  1. What happens to the logbook, is it deleted?
  2. Do I have to buy a brand new program?

Nothing happens to the log book, you just purchase the upgrad package you want and then download. Everyone (regardless of version) gets the base simulator (which you have now) and for anyone who purchases a higher package gets that content as well (seperate download).

Look at the “higher” versions as paid DLC over the base version. It makes zero changes to the base sim itself. You just get the extra planes and hand-crafted airports that come with the DLC.
