Upgrading SSD m.2 MSFS Drive from 1TB to 2TB?

You cannot if the drive letter is already used.

Don’t. You’ll loose your FS2020 data.

Try this:

1. Clone the original 1TB SSD to the new 2TB SSD. Or copy it to it.
   Procedure:
   Install the New SSD. If it is a new M.2 SSD
   Go to Windows Disk Management
   Create it as a Simple Volume
   Format it
   Give it a drive Letter
   Then Clone it or copy 1TB to it

2.Go to Windows App an select “Move”
Tell it the new drive letter for the new 2TB SSD

Or

1. You can use Disk Management to change the 1TB drive letter
   to something different.
2. Change the 2TB drive letter to the previous 1TB letter.
3. Clone or copy 1TB to 2TB

FS2020 will work with the new 2TB SSD.
