That is really too much for me. I fly with MSFS since FS98 and hundreds (1000s ?) of $ for MS and addons. I lost all my settings again Ang most of the addons are not working (I restored correct link for the Community Folder). I even don’t want to revert to MSFS 2020 but I just purchased Xplane. Shame on you Microsoft and Asobo.

Hopefully this time around they don’t plan any releases for a Friday afternoon or evening.

The Phantom Update hit me for a second time!
I was hit first 3 days ago.
I reinstalled MSFS2024, downloaded some of my extras e.g. Fenix, Navigraph, A350, airports etc .
I didn’t attempt to use MSFS2024 until today.
But before I did I followed the instructions to resolve the problem by leaving the beta. I rebooted and immediately MSFS2024 got deleted and reinstalled. So I lost all my extras again.
This is really annoying, to say the least.
If the wizards in Microsoft are not certain a solution they are suggesting will work they should say so.

Hmm… Xbox app says I have an Update for 2024.
Is it this issue (again), or is it SU2?

To be clear, what happened last week was not a planned release. The production team was doing some back-end prep work for the SU2 beta that should have been completely invisible and transparent to end users. We are still investigating the cause of the phantom 8.7GB deployment and why it affected some PC users but not Xbox users.

Check your Xbox App, MS Store or Steam, as required., to update.
