Altimeter freezes at 44.646 feet, then comes back after climbing/descending for a little while

PC Version Steam version Tested with no mods installed at all and dev mode off. The altimeter reading will get stuck once you reach 44.646 feet. It comes back after you climb for a little bit, but if you then descend it will get stuck at 44.646 again and the same behavior happens, you descend for a while and then it comes back and catches up.
