As a reminder, the new stable version of the A32NX will now also appear as a separate aircraft in the sim.
Common Issues
AP not following the flight plan (leaking input values affect, but doesn’t disconnect the AP)
Workaround: Set dead-zones for your input device higher
Go to your settings
Controls and select your yoke/joystick/controller.
After that click the sensitivity button on the top left which should take you to the menu where you can adjust your deadzones. Start with 20% deadzone, if the problem persists keep increasing it. If it’s fine with 20% you can then slowly decrease it too.
Autopilot goes direct to RWY on APP (same with the default A320)
Workaround: Use DIR to a waypoint or selected heading
CTD when pressing FLY on world menu
Check your content manager for missing packages
CTD during loading
Currently caused by an MSFS issue with standalone modules. Please uninstall MobiFlight, FSUIPC, and YourControls (or any other standalone WASM modules) until MS releases a hotfix
Plane is invisible
Check your content manager for missing packages
Livery/Mod Conflict
Rudder keybindings not working
You have to set your keybinding to rudder axis right and left
Wing dips on landing (due to bad transition to direct law in flare, same with the default A320)
Workaround: use minimal aileron input on landing, or try the experimental version
Black screens / unable to start
Conflict with another mod/livery or incorrect installation of the A32NX mod
Use our installer
Upper ECAM displays wrong THR levers position / N1 rating
Asobo Aviator/Beta Club A320 liveries are incompatible with the A32NX mod
we have recently completed one of our largest features in the A32NX. Each individual aircraft light, display unit, and windscreen wiper is now powered by the correct electrical bus. All managed by an accurately modelled electrical system.
Want to see it in action? Grab the latest development or experimental version!
we are happy to announce Chapter 2 of the A32NX Ground School series! This is a complete step-by-step guide on MCDU programming to assist beginners with regard to flight planning and management.
We’ve experienced some issues with our online services, docs and download networks due to a bad DNS config. The situation is now resolved and access to the aforementioned services should progressively return.
We’d also recommend performing a DNS flush on your PC if the issue persists for an extended amount of time.
Thanks to your continued support towards FBW, we would like to announce that our Stable Version of the A32NX (0.6.1) is now available on the Microsoft Flight Simulator Marketplace.
If you’re an existing user and want to benefit from our regular updates, you should stay on the version you fly already and use our FBW installer to keep the plane up to date.
Our work will continue to be open source and free to use!
we released a bugfix (0.6.2.) for the stable version of the FlyByWire Simulations A32NX for Sim Update 5 (MSFS v1.18.14). However, we highly recommend staying with development for the latest features and continued compatibility.
Note: Not available on MSFS Marketplace.
If you run into any issues with the addon, please do the following before asking for help or opening a bug report:
Make sure you are running MSFS on Windows 10 version 2004 or greater
Ensure that your dynamic page file is set correctly. (Start Menu > Search > sysdm.cpl > Advanced > Performance > Settings > Advanced > Virtual Memory > Paging > Automatically Manage Paging File Size for All Drives)
Please make sure you download the addon via the zipped release below, or the official installer (cloning via Git/Github requires you to build first)
Changelog
[FLIGHT MODEL] Force usage of modern flight model
[TEXTURE] Corrected fire panel
[MODEL] Fixed artifacting of pedestal and push buttons
[LIGHTS] New potentiometer for lights, emissives and screens.
[MISC] Fixed flight plan entry and broken lights for SU5
[TERR] Fixed terrain radar for SU5
[MISC] Change back to airliner hud in external view for SU5
Latest Issues
Altitude issues causing the plane to “chase” altitude in cruise under certain conditions. There is no fix for this issue in SU5, this is a simulator bug. This is worked around in the development version, but VATSIM will still see incorrect pressure altitude until this is resolved by Asobo (post SU5).
Intermittent (infrequent) high fuel burn and poor engine performance caused by extremely inaccurate temperature being returned from Live Weather. Use a weather preset until this is resolved by Asobo (post SU5).
Engine animations sometimes not playing on Loading Cinematics when loading departing on a runway at certain airfields. To be resolved by Asobo (post SU5).
External strobe lights have inaccurate/bugged behavior sometimes.
Using the printer may trigger CTDs on occasion. See blurb below on CTDs.
Toggle Spoilers bindings sometimes may not work This is a Sim issue that affects all planes. To be resolved by Asobo (post SU5).
Common Issues
Crash to Desktop when loading into large airports. This and other such CTD issues are not caused by the A32NX addon as of SU5. In SU5 there are multiple overlapping issues which can cause CTDs. These include but are not limited to memory leaks, corrupt installation of update packages (by the MSFS content manager), disconnecting peripherals, crashing when loading many objects in a scene, switching aircraft in the main menu causing CTDs when plane is loaded on the world map (fine on relaunch), incorrect compilation flags being set for WASM compilation causing potentially-lossy assumptions about floating point math. Our model consists of the default Asobo A320 models with additional assets attached, which can trigger the CTD related to loading many objects in a scene more frequently. The developer version is particularly badly affected by the last issue (fast math), because of the complex calculations involved in deeper systems. This is not a fault that we can resolve. Available Mitigations:
Run the addon without custom liveries
Run the addon without other addons (only for diagnosing, please report the issue if it is caused by a third-party addon!)
Run the simulator without AI Traffic/Multiplayer/Ground Vehicles
Turn Generic Plane models on if you do wish to use traffic
Run the simulator with less peripherals attached.
General autopilot/lateral navigation issues (will be fixed with upcoming custom FMGC)
AP not following the flight plan (leaking input values affect, but doesn’t disconnect the AP)

We have completed our preliminary CTD investigation with Asobo to find the underlying issue and implemented a fix. Please uninstall ANY marketplace edition you may have in your content manager.
To ensure that the A32NX is compatible with SU5 please download either Stable 0.6.3 or the latest development version:

Our latest stable release (0.7.3) provides compatibility with Sim Update 7 along with a fix for printer CTDs.
This is the last stable release before the merging of our custom FMS version 1 (cFMS v1). Please use this version if you wish to stay on the default FMS. We however strongly recommend using Development and the new FMS unless you need the v0.7.0 base for third-party compatibility.
Sim Update 9 (SU9) has been released. Our Development and Experimental builds are already working perfectly with the new version, so there is no need to update. Stable users may experience some problems, and a v0.7.5 will soon be released.
Stable Version 0.7.5 is released. This release provides compatibility with the update for SU9 (1.25.7.0). It does not contain our new custom FMS version 1 (cFMS v1).
[PFD] Prevent going blank with invalid frequency
[FMGC] Fix FMGC not initializing in SU9
[ATHR] Fix engine loss when 100% throttle is written
It has been a long road to our latest stable release. We are happy to introduce some long-awaited features, stunning visual elements, and more realistic simulations of various A320neo systems. The curated release notes contain important information regarding this version.
This release improves the performance impact of the aircraft, alongside improvements to LNAV paths and fixes to hardware bindings associated with the pause function. An issue with systems updates is also fixed preventing erratic oscillations in flight.
We are happy to announce our latest Stable (0.9.0) which contains plenty of quality of life updates that enhance the user experience when using the A32NX. We now support SimBridge across all our versions allowing us to utilize external systems more easily. The aircraft has also seen major work across a variety of systems bringing an even more realistic simulation of the A320neo to Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020.
