Okay, I’ll try that again, but I spent about 40 minutes flying through clouds from London to Cambridge, and no ice formed. I’ll try my test I mentioned earlier, and I shouldn’t even need to take off. Spawn in a C172, and establish low level cloud at the right temperature to cause ice to form. It accretes a lot slower now with SU4, so I may need to wait a few minutes for this to occur. Then switch to the Islander.
I found the reason why the plane is overloaded at spawn, in the “flight_model.cfg”. All stations are fully loaded.
