I’ll have to try that. I’ve been trying to land with just one notch and 15" and having a bit of a time of it. I have been finding that if you touch the throttle even a little in that configuration it just starts to float above the glideslope and its tough to get it back. And I’m a real pilot fer cryin’ out loud!
Yeah flew them in RL and the auto pilot I never used
I have a Questionen regarding the fuel quantity. Is there some Kind of conversion done regarding Units in the BN? Because when i visualize the quantity on my stream deck it is a different amount. Not much but it differs.
dont forget there are approx 7 Gallons Unusable fuel in Total
Perhaps its not taking this into account ?
I tried again today and now it shows the correct amount. Strange
was just about to comment …
I’ll get my coat
Hi,
Did you discover Alt arm with new AP update?
ALT ARM is Inop and will remain so
In some videos on youtube, its working totally fine!
BLACKBOX DO NOT SUPPORT MODDED FILES AS THEY HAVE NOT BEEN TESTED BY BBS
We assume No responsibility for failures in part or full
I would think maybe the modders can open a separate thread like ‘Modding the Islander’ or such so the modders and the mod users can discuss changes to the plane there.
The ARM button does not work in the 172 either. It’s on Asobo, or third parties, to implement this if they choose.
I would think the sensible thing to do would be to send Mods to the Developer for testing then they can be assured of support and maybe inclusion in the main product if desired . .
But I am sorry for being heavy handed “mr Captain sim” on this but Untested Mods cannot be supported. we had serious transponder issues with a Recent Mod simply because it was created with no real testing in the latest Islander. A lot of grief and tail chasing could have been avoided
Look at it this way. If people are already modding your aircraft, you have a popular product. Just don’t try to take our liveries, m’kay?
no fix for this yet?
I was testing something else unrelated, and noticed that immediately after spawn the gyro suction gauge had a complete needle. I then used dev. mode to flip between liveries, and found that every single one I picked, even going back to the original, had the “broken in half” needle.
I think the first spawn was the Malta variant, though I’m not 100% on that. Just going to quickly check.
It seems like its dependent on engine start. The needle is correctly shown when the engines are off, but as it rotates it clips through the face of the dial.
Engine off:

Engine on:

Changing my view to show clipping, you can see the needle position is off, but is still there.

Now personally I think it’s OK for mods to break things AS LONG as whoever is using the mods then removes them and tests the clean configuration before reporting a problem to anyone but the mod maker.
Many Thanks! Thats indeed a nice surprise… at least some basic KAP140 functions avail now… working like a charm…
Cheers
T.
