I have been beta testing using my Valve Index controllers with my Vive Pro 2 and most things are working great but did find a few issues with my controllers.
The “Force squeeze” on the Index is not working but the touch is. What this means is if you touch the grip area of the controller without focus it will switch to it. That is a big pain in the …
My workaround is to create a custom binding on SteamVR that disables the grip inputs so not unless you pull the trigger on the other controller the focus will not change.
When I am sure this does not cause ant issues I will publish my bindings so other Index users can try them.
I have published my bindings and it is called Shared bindings from SparkerInVR. For some reason MSFS does not look at the custom bindings when it starts VR. If I edit something in the binding and change it back then it reads the binding and my changes are seen.
Thanks just trying to get the VR controller support here close to what I have had on X-Plane for many years but we are in early days so time will tell. I stream VR on Twitch so my needs and wants might not be the same as other VR users.
