Various bugs and appreciation of the game

The absence of a glider for the flight without an engine is extremely regrettable !?!

It lacks challenges / adventure like in Microsoft Flight Simulator X is also unfortunate, yet they give meaning, interest in the game !?!

The roofs of the houses are not photorealistic while the game is based on satellite images !?

I noticed that the sports stadiums implemented in the game are not flat.

The rivers flowing towards the sea miraculously gain in height which is impossible in the reality (the Rhône just outside Geneva Switzerland for example)… some bridges are under water !?

The game’s release seems to have been rushed, the game seems to have been sloppy, it’s really very unfortunate.

Even though MFS 2020 is “prettier” than MFS X, the gameplay of MFS X is superior to that of MFS 2020. I am disappointed with the end result, as well as not being able to test a program before purchasing it !!

I don’t know if this is the right place to report bugs, excuse me for my bad English, I speak fluent French just like the designers of this game…

Regards.

I was testing the game before buying it (was part of the alpha tester program) and still bought it because i was full of hopes that the final version was finished. Im disapointed too. I really hope they will come up with some updates and patches pretty soon.

It’s not. And you know that.

Also, your points are mostly of “cosmetic nature”. Maybe step back a little bit and see the “big picture”. I mean, heck: you didn’t seriously expect that any amount of (economically payable) people could effectivley test and check every corner of this planet for ACCURACY? Like 99% of the planet is GENERATED, based on more or less accurate satellite data and artificial intelligence (AI - which amounts to “guesswork” ;))!

And they already announced that there will be refinments to the generated world and the used algorithms. Fun fact: every time they adjust the AI (algorithms) it takes about TWO FULL WEEKS to re-generate the entire world - with CLOUD COMPUTING (that is, there isn’t just a single CPU doing the number crunching).

Just to get you an idea of the sheer amount of data that has to be number-crunched. And now I want to see YOU and check every river, check every satellite and terrain data for accuracy before and after each run…

But sure, feel free to report terrain inaccuracies in the issue tool (“Zen Desk”) and I am sure the developers will happily take your input!

This is an ABSOLUTE FEAT that they pulled off with a “1.0”. And apparently you have ABSOLUTELY NO CLUE how hard “image recognition” is (I do, for that matter). So no, not every GENERATED house will have the exact same position, size, architecture or even colour as in the real world. Get over it.

For all the others: the generated world looks absolutely stunning! And we haven’t even talked about the clouds - just… wow!
