VectorPlacement not working?

Not sure what I’m doing wrong. When I select a fence model and click “add”, the gizmo shows up for a second then disappears. Not at all like how the SDK documentation suggests it should behave.

I strongly suggest to put the VectorPlacement aside at least until SU10, It Is broken by now

Another issue… Im trying to use vector placement to save time when placing my perimeter fence. But when using it the fence appears flat against the ground. The model appears correctly in blender. Any suggestions?

Maybe you have some rotation not applied in blender?

is that ok if you place it as a simple scenery object?

Yes, works fine as a scenery object. Just not as a vectorplacement.

Is the model a single mesh?
Do you have it in a downloadable scenery to troubleshoot it?

Believe I sorted it. Not sure what resolved it as I tried a number of things.

Think i have this problem now too lol,can you remember how you solved it?
