Velocity one flight profiles in MSFS gone

Detailed steps to reproduce the issue encountered:

not sure, nothing has changed that I know of. no new addons. I updated the V1F to firmware 1.4.0, after the profiles went missing.

PC specs and/or peripheral set up if relevant:

Xbox Series X

Quick update, I created a new profile for the V1F Yoke, I resumed the sim to test my settings. Everything worked. When I went back to the controls options, the profile was set back to ‘default’ and the profile that I just created and saved was gone. Something is definitely weird going on here.

Update: I contacted Turtle Beach support, they suggested uninstalling MSFS and reinstalling it, because it sounded like a software issue. Several hours later and 250 GB redownloaded, I reinstalled MSFS and my VF1 profiles did return. They said they will talk to Asobo-MS about this.
