James, it sounds like I’m not the only US customer who never saw stock available yesterday, despite being on the TB page when it was supposed to be live at noon. I also signed up for notifications before the pre order date, but have yet to receive a notification. I’d really love to get my hands on a VelocityOne, so hopefully some are actually available when the next wave drops.
James, the unit I received today doesn’t appear to have a functioning yoke. It will roll left and right but won’t pitch up or down (plunging the yoke in and out doesn’t seem to be recognized, either by MSFS settings mapping, even the Training mode within the V1 is not recognizing the plunging of the yoke as a mapped setting in any of the profiles). What am I missing?
I’ve sent you a DM to delve into the detail and see what I can do to help ![]()
Thanks! Beyond this (rather important) issue, I’m more than impressed. Amazing little peripheral.
Great. Thank you. To the exact second, please! ![]()
Stickers? Lost me there.
Interesting - this was one of my favorite parts about the whole presentation. They’re quality stickers, despite the connotation of the word “sticker”. I get it. But the added customization is awesome IMO.
I ordered on day one but haven’t had any emails or anything turn up yet. I’ve checked spam etc but nothing since my order email. Hoping it’s this week!
Hi James,
I ordered a velocityone on day one but haven’t had any emails or anything turn up yet. I’ve checked spam etc but nothing since my orginal order email. Hoping it’s this week and there are issues but I thought I should have gotten an email by now.
My Order No. TBUK-35750
I didn’t get any button decals with my Velocity one?
Hi Sazzle, best to raise this one with customer support here.
Hi borderwarrior4,
They should look like the image below. If you didn’t get these in your packaging, please contact customer support and they’ll be able to send you some. They are usually placed on the outer eggshell packaging along with the quick start guide.
Thanks for that, revisited my packaging , found them, dam they were well hidden. Cheers .
Hi. I’d be interested in finding out how the stand works for you. Please let me know when you’ve tested it out. I’d appreciate it
UPS says I’m getting my yoke tomorrow. I’ll let you know my first impressions tomorrow evening if I can tear myself away from the sim long enough.
Yep, getting mine tomorrow too! Can’t wait.
No port for rudders is only an issue for Xbox fliers. On the PC, these will work fine with USB pedals. That’s how I flew my Honeycomb Alpha/Bravo before I sold it — I got the adapter for the TFRP pedals that came with my T.16000 setup that let me plug the pedals into a USB port instead of into the HOTAS. And on my kid’s PC, with the Airbus TCA stick/throttle, we’re using using an ancient set of USB CH Pro Pedals. There’s no need for TB-specific pedals on the PC.
I assume someone will have Xbox-compatible pedals at some point as well.
Hi James,
have you managed to find out anything related to a later release embargo for flightsimwebshop.com?
Hi. Congrats to those that got theirs.
Have you guys been able to get the settings to SAVE?
That is a lot of settings to re do every time.
Thanks for the feedback.
I haven’t found anything unusual my end - I’m not aware of any stock being held under embargo. Best to contact the third party supplier about their stock and dates.
In Options > Control Options, if you change the device button mappings, it should prompt you to create a new profile when you click ‘Apply and Save’ at the bottom. Rename it whatever you like, and then use that profile for the device. The only wider issue we’re aware of at the moment is saving sensitivity settings on xbox. We’re in contact with Asobo about it and they’ll be looking to update the software in a future update, which will hopefully fix this issue. PC users are unaffected. Hope that helps! There’s a video about it here too.
