Very Blurry Aircraft Displays

Hello, I turned on frame gen and all the aircraft displays are very blurry. I have a 4070 super and a 7800x3D.

Screenshot your settings.

That’s most likely due to DLSS. The only current way to get them sharp is TAA instead of DLSS

I gave up trying DLSS. If you fly airliners with glass cockpits, DLSS isn’t your friend.

Use taa instead of dlss. With your setup, you dont need it.

I had the same problem once, there is any easy get-around which I’ve been using for ages I just haven’t shared it. I personally don’t use DLSS but if you are on a lower-end pc and you need to few extra frames here’s how to get the most out of it.

  1. Set your NVIDIA DLSS super resolution to performance - this will make the screens show no motion blur when moving.
  2. Go into your userconfig file and look for secondary scaling, if you have lossless scaling from steam, which is what I have, set it to 2.2, otherwise you can put it 2.2-2.5 - basically the higher you go the more frames you are going to loose and I use the scaling feature on lossless scaling to make the screens look slightly sharper because I want the maximum FPS.
3 (Lossess scaling only)) Set up your scaling to LS1 and set the sharpness to around 2 - if you go too low the screens look to blurry, and too high they start to look greesy for some reason.

I hope this helps, and happy flying!
