I understand the point of view here but I disagree. It’s us, the customer accepting unfinished games and add on’s that has led to this trend for publishers releasing products 75% completed. Fine if it’s free or discounted early access but when you are charged a premium rate we should receive a premium product.
If that means it takes longer to release then so be it. The whole games industry more or less follows this path nowadays because they know they can get away with it. I can’t think of any other business off hand that follows this practice. No one would buy a car on day one of its release if it was discovered the engine would follow in two months time!
