I agree 100% with your post. It’s Sunday morning and I have the house to myself. Normally I would launch my Xbox Series X and MSFS for an enjoyable session. But no longer with MSFS 2024 in play.
It appears the development focus has not included those using the xbox controller.
I say this because none of the extended menus in the EFB, or the Communications scroll. If you launch the cursor mode and manoeuvre to the right side sometimes you will see a scroll bar…sometimes. If one does appear it is so narrow that it is virtually impossible to move it with the cursor using the controller.
This on top of all the other bugs and gaps has made MSFS 2024 a waste of time for the xbox community.
I am using a Microsoft gaming system with a Microsoft controller to try and play a Microsoft game at considerable expense.
I feel like I have been played.
