I noted this before in a bush trip that uses the Cessna Caravan and experienced it in the the New Guinea bush trip included in the latest release using the x-cub. If you “auger in” on your landing and choose to restart at the last completed way point, the aircraft altitude is set to the aircraft service ceiling; well above where any realistic VFR dead reckoning would be attempted. Is there a setting that I have wrong or is there a bug that is on the low priority list.
The altitude can be set by the creator of a bush trip for each individual waypoint. If there is an issue with a waypoint, please report it to the author. For Microsoft/Asobo trips via Zendesk and for most trips from the marketplace, you will find a support address on the marketplace page of the product after purchase.
Thank you. There are several that I experienced, the latest in a Diamond DA2 in New Caledonia. Some guidelines for writing adventures distributed in MSFS releases may be in order. I have never had any issues with third party purchased items, so I suspect there is less testing with the “freeware” adventures.
