Yes i think this happens in all Carenado planes, and apparantly in other add-ons too.
It was already reported a year ago but Carenado didn’t fix it yet.
And Asobo allows third party code to crash the sim without error message.

Well known bug. It can be fixed by making sure there’s a couple extra lines in the cameras.cfg. Sounds more like an oversight of the developer and I’d guess those lines are missing from trying to use legacy code. Anyway here’s how you fix it-

Oh wow thank you, I hadn’t come across that before but I’ll be trying this tonight!
UPDATE: Yes, it works! Thank you so much. Oddly in the F-14, it seems to have enabled the pilot model while I’m in the cockpit, making my view clip through the model unless I set the view forward far enough; but still it’s better than the default view.
just discovered this, will be trying out the resolution, thanks!
i’m a little confused on what to do. is this correct?
No, the important point is that the UItitle line cannot be blank between the quotes, but you only need one line in there. So It’s VFR for camera 0.

That’s it. It’s good to keep at the ready. I still find myself needing to pop it in on recent addons, in fact I just had to use it for one of the Anniversary edition planes, maybe the Bell 407.

I’m still astonished when, two years into this sim, some developers seem to still not be aware of this needing to be done correctly! IFT, love ya, but I’m looking at you.
