BRILLIANT!!!
Absolutely beautifully done. The biggest difference I can see is that it is now late fall in Toronto so not so green while MSFS2020 has a lot more vegetation and looks more green/spring-y. And yes of course there are differences. But overall? Simply mind blowing!
Just shaking my headā¦
Such a great work to watch !
Itās only that we urgently need seasons in the sim.
Absolutely fantastic! We are so close with MSFS!
Brilliant video work !!!
Just shows how right out of the box close FS2020 is. Yes, seasons would definately make a difference and perhaps a few buildings here and there tweaked but holy cr@p, in order for me to get FSX to get this close would have involved throwing tons of cash at the sim let alone oodles of different layers of folders changing .cfg files all over the place and then of course the headaches of tracking down conflicts with the numerous add-ons which ultimately show up in the form of scenery glitchesā¦outta breathā¦
Thanks for your work in putting this together too BTW! Well done! Be safe!
What a superb video. I used to live in the GTA, flew over the city numerous times (Cessna 172, Diamond Da-20, Lockheed L10 Electra, Harvard 4). Also flew cross country to Brantford once. Your video was nostalgic and greatly enjoyed. Well done.
Very much appreciate your efforts as I lived many years the same corridor you flew in except more towards Hamilton and flew this route many times with FS2004, FSX, Flight Gear and now FS2020.
With your time and effort and real life Cessna and excellent video quality you keep the dream of flying alive.
Take good care and all the best.
great video !!
you only see a few things I have already reported to the wishlist or as a request to ZenDesk:
Cloud shadows have to be darker, haze (too little compared to real world) or visibility mode depiction has to be adjusted. otherwise very good rendering, you see the advantage of MSFS lighting compared to other sims, looks more natural. We donāt need to talk about the scenery āout of the boxā, says a lot anyway. great work from Asobo und MSFS and again a great video !
BR !
Thanks for sharing! Amazing comparison!
Vanilla, out of the box, and yet no competitor comes even close!
Let the detractors grow silent.
Thank you.
Thanks for all your wonderful comments. Yes, we definitely need the seasons. But as so many have said: this is what you get right out of the box for $60. I should add that this is completely default. I have not modified a single file or added any mods. Glad to trigger memories you those familiar with the terrain. I was pretty amazed myself when I lined up the videos to see the incredible closeness to realism that this sim can offer. Thanks again for watching!
Absolutely stunning. Well done!
If I could live in any other city in the world it would be Toronto! Seeing as London needs a few ātouch upsā in MSFS at launch, I have spent quite a lot of time there lately and it seems pretty true to what I remember it being like.
Great vid. I assume all your settings are maxed out in the simulator? Would be good to know your set up (and your rig for those, like me considering upgrading components) Cheers
Thanks for watching. Yes, Toronto is quite spectacular in many ways. I donāt live in Toronto, but only a 45 minute drive away, so I visit often.

Iād definately have my PPL now but guess the good Lord had other plans for me instead (health reasons why I donāt).
Be safe.
Thanks for watching. This sim allows so many to experience the visual sensation of flight and that is very special! Cheers!
