Vibrating analogue gauges and cockpit parts

In piston engine and rotary wing aircraft the needles on analogue gauges vibrate visibly. Different engine speeds create different frequencies and amplitudes of movement. The instrument cowling, sticks, levers and yokes all shake and vibrate, making the aircraft feel alive.

Currently everything is static, unless a third party developer does a tiny amount of vibration on engine startup as a little gesture.

Adding all this vibration would add a huge amount of realism, especially in VR. This effect could potentially be turned on and off in the settings.

3PDs can easily add all the Vibration effect they see fit.

For Example the Wb-Sim C172 Enhansement Mod.

but don’t expect to see such fine modeling / simulation details in most of the Stock Asobo Planes

The vibration and oscillation of the RPM and volt meter would definitely be welcome. Anyone who’s been in a clapped out trainer has seen pretty much everything vibrating in the cabin hahah
That would definitely breathe some life to the aircraft.

Including my nerves when my CFI pulls my power and I have to make a forced landing.

When the CFI pulls the power, you can be sure he is going to make sure he is OK, and takes over if you it gets beyond you …

It’s when the engine pulls back the power itself, that I start to worry and realize why that Avgas at the last airport seemed so cheap !!

And here I thought I was getting a good deal… LOL

Check out the cockpit video for the soon-to-be-released Black Square Piston Duke.
All the vibrating gauges you could want (well, maybe not…)
