Hi,
I recently installed MSFS2024 and configured it together with my Saitek Panels, StreamDeck devices, Thrustmaster Airbus sidestick, throttle, and throttle add-ons, as well as pop-out panels using SPAD.neXt.
However, I’ve now repeatedly encountered a serious issue with the Cessna Citation Longitude. During rotation on takeoff, the aircraft aggressively pulls to the left or right. Just after reaching slightly above Vr, the stick shakers go off, and then the aircraft violently rolls to one side—often triggered by just the slightest crosswind. Attempting to correct with aileron or rudder input doesn’t help, and it seems like the aircraft completely stalls. I usually crash before even reaching the end of the runway—either to the left or right.
Is this expected behavior? I really doubt it. I understand the need for correction when dealing with crosswinds or asymmetric weight distribution (e.g., a 150 lbs imbalance on one side), but this kind of uncontrollable roll followed by a stall seems extreme.
Could this be a bug? Is there a known workaround? Have others experienced this as well? Or is there something wrong with my setup—controller configuration, flight model settings, or something else?
- Occurs with the C700 as far as I tested
- Occurs when Weather is set to live (and some knots of crosswinds occur)
- Sometimes happens, sometimes it doesn’t. Like its weather dependant.
- When stall/roll happens, crashing is inevitable. Counter roll/rudder has no effect.
