I tried many combinations but was unable to initiate reverse thrust by pulling my throttle handles toward me and over my set of detents. I can only initiate reverse thrust by having a button assign to “Toggle reverse thrust” and pushing the throttles handles to max.
I need help on this one!
If you are lifting the detents, does that trigger a button?
If so: You can bind those to “decrease throttle 1”
It’s not ideal, but this way you can trigger the reverse.
There is maybe a way, I have not been successful doing it, I just use a button. See videos on Jons Gaming and Tech channel on YouTube, He may have an example. Primarily he uses DCS for his examples so that may not work. I find binding a button easier.
Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, lifting the detents does not trigger a button .
Hmmm, think we missed a point. I assign a button to do my reverse thrust, it takes over any throttle position, but I’m at flight idle over threshold, once TD is achieved, I just push and hold button I have assigned to it. It takes a second or so to pick up operation, so I also have "auto brake set to 2-3, and spoilers are deployed as well. I do not have sim open now, but there is one setting for RT. It’s called something else though, like decrease throttle quickly or some such thing.
I tried a few settings based on the information you sent but nothing worked. Right now, I am learning Spad.Next and will try with this add-on
Regards
Yep, In device settings, choose “decrease throttle” and bind that to a button, it should work then.
