i’m running vfhub ver 1.3.6, the G1000 panels do not have a specific firmware. I am using two panels in a stay level avionix cockpit. I have a separate autopilot module which helps me get by when flying other model aircraft that don’t use the G1000. You can still drag what ever you want from other plane cockpits into the panel, just does not have all the functions working.
The switcho gear looks great, i’m looking at it at the momement.
Sorry, another feature request: editing the curves for the ruddo+ is very powerful. Could it be possible for other devices like TQ6+? That would be very useful for creating notches via software for IDLE and the new Beta Range included in some turboprops in FS24.
For example, the physical IDLE in the TQ6+ is configured as Beta Range in the new Asobo Caravan. You must be very careful during approach and don’t pull back the lever to IDLE notch because that will active the Beta (and you’ll fall like a brick). Right now I put a little magnet in that position to detect when I have to stop.
For that reason, be able to configure the curves would be very useful.
I am now also on VFHub 1.3.6 and Switcho Radios firmware 2.0.3
All my devices are working fine together.
Devices: Toko+, TQ6, Switch Trims, Switcho Radios.
Hello everyone,
The latest stable version of our application, VFHub v1.3.7, is now available on our website. This version is fully compatible with MSFS2024 installations via both Steam and Microsoft Store, unlike previous versions (v1.3.2, v1.3.3, v1.3.4), which had issues with Steam-based installations.
Additionally, this update includes a new firmware version for Switcho Radios, v2.0.5. Details about the improvements in both the firmware and VFHub are available on our website. In the Switcho Radios product section, you’ll find the Release Notes, where all firmware updates are detailed. Furthermore, in the Setup & Support section, the release notes for the VFHub application are also available, outlining all changes made to the app.
We hope you enjoy the updates!
I can’t get my VF G1000 to respond in MSFS 2024. I downloaded the latest version of the hub (1.3.7) and it shows that I’m connected to MS2024, but none of the knobs or buttons do anything. Thanks in advance!
Hi @AUJeffK, is it possible that you have a Logitech application installed on your system? Their applications can sometimes interfere with certain functionalities of the VFHub. What I recommend is that you contact Virtual Fly’s support email: support@virtual-fly.com. They will help you resolve any issues you might have!
Hi all, looking for assistance with Switcho Lights panel, specially the tank selectors. These work fine in MSFS 2020 with aircraft that I use i.e. baron G58.
In MSFS 2024 these do not automatically work, further to this I cannot find any fuel functions that will work when binded to either knob.
Any advice would be appreciated. Regards Nick.
Can anyone with the RADIOS module say how well they work with complex third party aircraft, such as Black Square, and A2A planes?
I’ve been looking at these for ages, and reading through this thread I can see that VF have done a lot of work supporting them. I’m looking at the bundle that has engines, lights, trims, and radios.
For the most part I expect all the other gear, except Trims Neo, will work well as they are seen as HID devices so I can manipulate them with SPAD. But the for the AP, and radios, if any third party plane uses non-standard simvars, these may not work so well, and from reviewing this thread it seems that has happened for some first party planes well.
If there was a way to access the software directly, to make changes to how they work, that would be ideal, even if it could never be seen as a HID device.
For example, I see no way to enable OBS mode on the Radios device. On my Logitech panel, I do this with a long press of the NAV button, with another long press to disable OBS. Takes seconds to set up in SPAD.
