Suggested Aircraft

Anything capable of flying at 120 knots or so. The group will be encouraged to circle and wait for slower aircraft.

Further Information

We are an inclusive, relaxed group – we recognise that some may not have flown online before, so encourage mentoring from more experienced pilots as much as possible.

Although take-off is scheduled for 8pm BST (1900 UTC), it may be worth arriving early to setup your aircraft, and/or to help others set-up theirs. Use the streaming functionality in Discord!

Do you have to have a VR headset for these flights.
If not, are there any specific scenery downloads recommended?

No specific hardware or downloads - stock scenery, stock aircraft - just a relaxed group flight exploring the cities along the rhein together. All are welcome to join in.

Thanks for previous answers.
I’m setting up Transmitter for the first time and have 2 questions please.

  1. There are 2 URL boxes. Status and WHAZZUP. In which box do I put the URL?
  2. What is the group name and where do I find it.
    Appreciate your help.
    Thought of another question if you don’t mind. Can this be used with just 2 or 3 flyers but not an organised trip?

In LittleNavMap, configure it like this:

You don’t need to worry about the Group Name unless you want to filter other people out :slight_smile:

Forgot to answer your second question - any number of people can use it. It should be able to handle many hundreds of people at once.
