ISSUE DESCRIPTION

up to SU4 inclusive, the Emergency Autoland function has always succeeded without any problem.
in SU5 beta it always fails with “No Airport Found” message

REPRODUCTION STEPS

  1. start fly with Cirrus Vision Jet G2

  2. press the red button for Emergency Landing

  3. No airport found message is displayed on the right screen

What peripherals are you using:
Cherry keyboard, Alienware mouse.

I’ve never used this system but here over Florida, got the same message than OP:

Not a new Beta Issue, as the Vision Jet’s Autolanding feature has always (at least for me and my experience using it since the sims launch) failed to find an airport on the first activation of Autoland, if you disconnect Autopilot and just activate auto land again, it’ll find an airport like its supposed to. Videos below showing the same happening in the Beta and Public Build.

@OldTimer529 : can you confirm you had to proceed the same prior SU5 Beta ?

this solution is well known for pre-SU5 versions,
unfortunately, in does not work for SU5 beta any more.

The Workaround continues to work in the SU5 Beta as my video above showcases :slight_smile:

I’ve tried the solution for many times now,
Not even a single success.
It was without problems prior SU5 beta with my configuration.

Moved to Bug Reporting Hub since autoland issue exists in the Live version and is not a SU5 Beta regression.

Flight with flight plan from KSFO to KLAX.
Tried to activate Emergency Landing several times with deactivating AP meantime, unsuccessfuly.
Finally, reactivated AP+AT+NAV+VNAV, finished flight with flight plan, smooth landing with AP+AT+APR,.
Cannot find the reason for nonfunctional Emergency Landing in SU5 beta, it was a fun a week ago in SU4.

I have setup a FP from KSFO to KLAX, took off and after a couple of minutes activated the autoland. The workaround still works in SU5 Beta:

I do apologize, after reinstalling MSFS 2024 the Emergency Autoland is once more functional.
