You essentially have more RAM available now which is why you don’t see the aggressive LOD throttling. Enjoy!

Edit: I looked it up and answered my own question.
The game looks so bad on xbox now. It just gradually gets worse and worse I don’t even notice until this weekend I thought I would play a little AC mirage for a change and it just made me realize how bad the graphics on 2020 are. Please lord let 2024 bring some realism back.

I have mentioned this a couple of times by now, but here it is again:
Do a clean reinstall. Install the WUs only and nothing else. If you have 3rd party planes, go ahead and install those. That’s it.
You can then, turn on RC and set it to 16GB. This should help. Also keep live AI traffic off and reduce the sliders to around 75-80. Lower for fauna.

I’ve cleared my reserved space before. Didn’t lose my purchased DLCs. Had to redownload the aircraft.
It definitely works. The more you install, the worse it gets. I find myself on installing what I need for where I’m flying. In some areas it makes it a bit worse, but still better than if you have everything installed. I look past it because I’ve spent so much on mods at this point, but when I reinstalled last time, it worked great.

I disagree. the sim itself, 2020, is just not as optimized and 2024 will be. if you have 200+ add ons from the MP installed, like me, there’s no way I’m going to do a clean install and add things back 1x1

No joke, this YouTube video just popped into my feed
So,Its impossible to load for example my a320neov2 into big airports,I always get dark screens, and when i try to load it in small airports it works, but its an a320! I don’t need it in small airports.(Its same with other planes but the a320neov2 the most)
And just recently I made the stupid decision to buy the pmdg
777, the performance is so bad on it when Im on the ground, and to save memory, they did this to the cabin of the plane..Im honestly just really excited for msfs 2024, I hope we wont have these kind of problems there.

I mean who are we kidding we know it is going to be a cluster-ef on xbox for at least a year. They don’t even have weather radar at launch you know they are behind. And thexbox will be even another year older hardwarewise.

Over the last few months pretty much all of my flying has been done over the UK.
For the past week I’ve been flying around various locations in the Alps.
I’m interested to know why the scenery looks amazing in the Alps but absolutely awful over the Uk, even with the latest WU.
It makes no sense to me.
Stop using photogrammy. See what happens. Photogrammy takes up bandwidth, as well as resources on your machine.
Try uninstalling some stuff and turn on your rolling cache. I think photogrammetry looks great in some areas and not so good in others. Also, the servers may be bottlenecking again which could explain how one area looks so pleasing and the other inconsistent.
Today, I was flying somewhere over Hungary and the scenery in front of me was loading in bright green blocks, as if they were being superimposed on top of the existing map. How odd. I moved the camera around, and those large blocks kept morphing in and out. In my frustration, I just quit the flight as it’s an immersion breaker.
However, I did several locations in the US the previous day, and those looked incredible. Also, I’ve encountered issues in the UK too. Photogrammetry areas, again, for some reason load in late and in large blocks or tiles from what I can see.
I think the regional part is the issue and I’m not sure why. I fly mostly in the US and a lot of the areas look pretty solid, especially as I either remove or only install what I need in a certain area. Some places in the UK and EU however look much worse.

Exact same experience! Most of the US looks great. UK and EU is a different story.
Yes Bro, unfortunately SU15 destroyed our experience on Xbox and the next update is only 2025. Crazy!
