Is the difference visual wise big. Cause I have a RTX4070 and a Ryzen 7 7700X and I just can use them with the a330 on high end
What would you say? I terrain LOD on 200 important or is 100 alright?
Is it important to you? On 4K it would be noticeable, not so much on 1080. Is the loss in fps worth it to you?
Nobody can answer this question for you; whether it makes a difference to your enjoyment is all that matters.
Can I like have different graphic settings for aircraft? Cause smaller aircraft can easily manage ultra graphics. (I got 100 FPS over New York) But the a330 is just to much
You can enable dynamic Settings in the Menu. As soon as your Target FPS won’t be hit anymore, it will lower the TLOD.
Not automatically, really. You can certainly change go into your Graphics options and change the preset depending on what aircraft you’re flying.
But one thing to note that isn’t apparent from you earlier posts: your GPU is not the only thing, or even necessarily the most important thing, that determines what graphics settings you can use. MSFS is usually CPU-bound for most people. Changing from TLOD 100 to 200 is one of the more significant changes between High End and Ultra presets, and it makes a big difference in CPU usage. Another change that DOES impact your GPU is texture resolution. The Ultra preset will usually give you higher VRAM usage, which may impact smoothness of your flying experience.
You could try reducing your rendering resolution a notch or two in the sim (full screen resolution in the graphics tab) or use dlss/FSR2.
I cannot recommend this video enough.
I followed the recommendation and now am getting 100 FPS (32GB RAM, 3080Ti with 11GB RAM)
Holy! That’s up there in the fps. I’m glad the vid helped you out!
