It actually is a bug as it turns on automatically in certain flights. One example where I can reproduce this 100% is the current challenge league “Malaga” rally race. It’s immediately on, can not be turned of by the default keyboard shortcut ALT+s. The only way is to go to the menu and switch it of there. Then just restart the challenge and it’s back on.
