Volocopter Volocity Glass Display too Dim to Read

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:
The glass display in the Volocopter Volocity is too dim to read in daylight, and is washed out by the “pilot flashlight” at night.

Volocopter Volocity

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. In Free Flight, choose the Volocopter Volocity, select any airport and set the time in flight conditions to any time during the day.
  2. Choose a parking spot at the airport & load cold & dark.
  3. Shift-C to enter the aircraft & Ctrl-E to energise the systems
  4. Note how the Garmin glass display is virtually unreadable (see Pic 1 below).
  5. Change the time of day to a time during the night.
  6. It is not much better at night - the “pilot flashlight” washes out the display (Pic 2.)
