interesting app but the subscription model is a huge NO for me…

i would be willing to pay 10 bucks for the app but definitelly not 5 euros a month…
I’m assuming one must be crazy passionate about simulated tubeliners to even consider paying a subscription for a little app that helps you with calculating fuel and take off weight etc. Wow!

Those would be the people who would pay 5.99/month.
They do have 1.99/month and 3.99/month plans for the less passionate.
Judging by your Avatar, you’re more used to “winging” it than doing it by the numbers, aren’t you? 
Its a great tool and I believe it is as close to real Boeing OPT (onboard performance tool). If performance figures is important to you then I would really recommend it. It covers 737-800 variant with other 737 NG variants to be supported in future.
In reality flight crews will use their onboard performance tool on their iPads or EFBs to calculate take-off/landing performance figures. Having similar tools for flight sim vastly increases that immersion level.
well note l m not a tubeliner , and not familiair at all to such display. it can be usefull and interesting with for exemple a perfect fuel flow modeling wich isn’t in our game, I don’t know wich data it rely on but imo it can lead to some frustating result having In game value not matching irl case bcs the flight model are not 100% accurate to the reality and will never be.

I have found VPT works very well with PMDG 737 - I have compared it to what PMDG EFB calculates and the difference is minor. As you said it all depends on what sources these apps use the data from so some alterations can be expected.

Just unexpected that they would charge a subscription for such a (from my perspective) “minor” tool. Maybe makes sense in a way since it’s probably such a niche. If it adds value for people, I’m all for it!
