VR beta for HP Reverb G2 launch?

There´s something that worries me a bit.
Jorg Neumann said that the VR closed beta will be ready by the end of october, or the beginning of november, and before that he said he wanted VR to be ready by the G2 launch (which launches the first week of november), so can we confirm that we will sail thru VR beta for some months (guessing here) after G2 launch and not with a final “version”?

I´m ok with that, I`m enjoyin the sim like never before and I don´t have any “killer” bugs just wanted to be sure that I got the VR thing right.

I believe you understand that correctly. Instead of just releasing the feature, they want to have a Closed Beta to get community comments before final release. A very reasonable way forward for such an important and widely popular capability. Closed Beta progress is likely to drive final release timeline.
