Vr disconnection and poor image quality

I am an MFS 2020 user since August 20. After the VR upgrade at FS, I have purchased the Oculus Quest 2 glasses as well as the connection cable, which is the official Oculus Link.

I have been through the tutorials to make the switch from MFS to RV. It’s not an easy process. I have managed to make the change. To manage FS 2020, I have bought a Windows 10 home computer, with a NVidia Geforce RTX 2080 Super graphics card, 32 GB RAM and a Inter Core i7 -9800x processor.

Since I started using the Oculus 2, I have two problems. 1. Sometimes It is not possible to connect the VR program with the glasses ( I don’t know why) and when it does, sometimes I can perform a complete flight but it is very unstable, that is, it is disconnected and a message appears on the oculus link not connected glasses.

However, if I turn off VR mode and wear the glasses, I see the screen perfectly in the glasses, just like in any other computer program.

My second problem, during the time that I am connected to the FL VR on a flight, the image quality is quite poor, despite having set the quality levels in high and medium values, according to the YouTube tutorials . I don’t understand this poor performance considering the processor and graphics card. Could you help me?

Are you using MSFS 2020 with steam or MS store?
Have you got Virtual Desktop for the Quest 2? and downloaded VR streamer app on your PC?
Mine works 99% of the time on Quest 2 with link cable to PC and registry edited in the Kronos OpenXr
_ 1 folder
C:\Program Files\Oculus\Support\oculus-runtime\oculus_openxr_64.json

Same issues octuls say that although 2080 super is usb c and vr ready they say they recorded lots of complaints.

Only advise they gave me was try the mother board usb c but then I don’t think the sim would use my card not sure if that the case.
