VR - High performance after a few minutes stand by : how to explain it?

When I am in VR at the beginning of my session, the framerate is very bad (15 - 20 …) and it’s really impossible to use the VR. If I leave the game at the threshold of the track and come back after 5 - 10 minutes, I end up with an excellent framerate (45 !!!) and VR is a dream … How to explain it? Does FS need time to load some data ? My config is modest: i5-9400, nvidia GTX 1660, 16MB, quest 2 via Anker USB 3.0 link cable (2.2 Gfps). What do you think about this strange behavior ?

You have to lower 2D graphics and lower settings 2D mode

Big Tip about FPS tweaking

You should lower the 2D graphic resolution and rendering of fs2020 (ex : 800x600 and rendering to low), otherwise you will get a strong increase of loading time of VR data (several minutes) before FPS stabilizes at the right value. Nota : During the test , if you quit the windows focus off fs2020, you will have to wait the same time to get the right FPS performance

You got it right, TheFoyalais ! I have lower the 2D graphic resolution and rendering settings to a minimum, and now I have the optimal FPS immediately, from the first second of sim ! Thanks a lot for this information !
