Several points at stake for a good VR:
Microsoft no longer follows its 3d helmets, basically improving its Baby so that others can benefit from it is not a good business for them! (yet with asobo they have a very very good mastery of VR with the studies on the hololens given by microsoft to Asobo, but it is clearly no longer followed at home).
The problems don’t just come from Microsoft/Asobo, the headset drivers have a lot to do with it, for my part with a lot of research and testing I made my quest 2 nickel work at 45 frames seconds on an old xeon 5670 and a 2080 super 8gb.
But for that I had to look for several months for the right parameters, use openxr tollkit and get my hands dirty!
The Nvidia drivers also cause concern, once it’s superb and after that destroys the experience.
So there is a lot of work on 3 levels before we have an exemplary VR on MSFS!
FS remains a demanding simulation, and the only one with this level of detail, whatever one may say!
