I have had the opposite experience. I find that the performance of VR in msfs2024 is a lot worse even setting the settings to lowest possible I struggle to maintain a reprojection rate of 45fps. I have a reverb g2 with 13900k and rtx 3080ti. In 2020 I can pretty much have everything high/ultra with DLSS balanced and I was getting 50+ fps (thats why I locked it to 45 reprojection) and it was lovely.
