I have the following Setup:
- AMD Ryzen 5800X
- AMD RX 6800
- Gigabyte X570 Aorus Mainboard
- 750W PSU
- 32GB DDR4 3600Mhz
- HP Reverb G2
First, Flight Simulator would crash to desktop just after a few minutes of playing in VR mode. But then I found a way to fix the crashes by setting TdrDelay in the registry as described in some reddit post.
However, the VR experience with my setup is horrible.
Already in the menu I see the wobbling effect that has been mentioned before by other users in this thread. The grid that is displayed in the main menu at the floor and the ceiling is constantly wobbling, and when I look to the sides or down when flying, the whole scenery is wobbling / stuttering. I’ve tried multiple things like disabling / enabling motion reprojection etc. but none of it improved anything.
Has anyone found out anything new how this can be fixed?
It definitely seems to be an issue with AMD graphics cards.
A friend of mine who is using a ryzen 3950X with an rx6900XT has exactly the same issue.
