Using the ādrone cameraā is certainly one way. Tricky while you are airborne though, especially with turbulences. I think some people also define ācustom view pointsā (by text-editing the corresponding aircraft configuration files), but I have never done so myself.
Other than that I donāt know.
This is possible from the regular cockpit view. Use the arrow keys to move left/right/up/down. Not remembering forth/back assignment at this time but it generally works all through the cabin.
Some mods even require moving through the cabin to click the door handle, which is not possible in drone mode.
Assign the eyepoint functions in the controller menu.
Hmmm, is that so? Last time I tried I thought movement was restricted to the cockpit area only. But maybe I tried with an airplane without actual modelling of the passenger area.
Will try again!
I think it depends on the developer. If they model the cabin as part of the cockpit I BELIEVE you can just move there as mentioned above. If they restrict the cockpit model to the actual cockpit youāll need the drone or external (?) views. Iāve never tried it in more than 100 flights (lol) with this aircraft but I think the DC-6 is done so.
Itās only restricted in certain planes as far as addons.
For the record: in the DC-6 in can only āwalkā within the cockpit. But apparently no way to get into the passenger cabin (there is a cockpit door which is closed, but it is not clickable - in case that would matter anyway).
you can also āwalkā the cab in the Juncker52-3
I can move about the Phenom 100, EMB 110 Bandeirante, H145, and several other addons.
Iām guessing Asobo made some sort of internal sim engine changes thatās limiting our movement outside of the cockpit for render memory/performance reasons? As it affects some planes but not others depending on those planeās 3D model or maybe camera cfgs???
What do you think?
