Rolled back the drivers to version 531.29. No more any CTD’s!

Experienced this Error Message yesterday when I tabbed out the game to the desktop (ALT+TAB).
Unfortunately I was flying on VATSIM…
Reason to tab out was the PFD in my Fenix froze and I wasnt’ able to follow the instructions of ATC anymore.

3rd time today, i did upgrade to 531.68 which btw crashed during installation… guess it’s bad so gonna roll back to 531.29. thanks for the tip!

I was getting this, and so i enabled “debug mode” in the NCP, as mentioned above, and after my first session, no crash (still on latest driver)… so weird

Leaving the game on for the update to go through. Coming back 5 minutes later finding this message again. In the menus.
I said it before, and I will say it again.
This bug ALWAYS occur more often, just prior to updates, under updates and some weeks after. I know that in the last drivers release from Nvidia the bug really came to a lot of those who hadnt seen it before that, but…
It´s been here for some 7 months now for some of us. I am really feeling this game will be over for me shortly. I dont care about more world updates while this thing is still in there…Over and out until next driver comes along or a fix arrives.

I had this error today and CTD half way through a flight in Russia. What’s worse is since this happened I’m getting artifacts in the sim now, I’ve reinstalled the latest driver, same artifacts, I’ve rolled back to the driver before latest, still artifacts.
I’m worried that MSFS may have ruined my new RTX3060.
Last thing I can try is clearing the shader cache and hope that it solves it.
MSFS can do some magic things, but not that 
… rollback the driver to 531.29, cleanup the system and ensure the system have a sufficient airflow.
For those with this issue, did doing a DDU cleanup help at all?
same problem here with the last two revisions of the the driver and gpu temps never exceed 58c 4090

Is it because the update has reinstalled the old nVidia .dll’s?
Ive just had a crash as well. I had forgotten to replace them with the newer more up to date versions after the update.
Can the mods not pass this on to the devs? The game should be shipping with the latest .dll’s by now. There’s really no excuse

Flight launches fine, and about two minutes into the flight I get the same error message and the game freezes. Drivers were updated to the latest version prior to installation of the update.

That is very interesting. Cause this bug seem very irregular. I want to ask you some questions:
- How often do you play?
- How often do you update your graphics drivers?
- When did it come back for you? The latest WU, or did you update to latest nvidia driver?
I’m not talking about the drivers, I’m talking about the dlss .dll’s. MSFS ship with old ones and v1.0.1.0 (of the frame gen .dll) always causes this crash for me
This problem continue with Oceania Update.

This has been happening for me for about 3-4 weeks. Never had this message before. Every flight I run it gives me the same message after about 2 hours of flight time. 2080 Super using Nvidia Experience optimised settings. If I roll back to two GeForce versions ago (forgot the version number) it works fine however.
It’s annoying having to roll back just for one game in my library. I hope it’s fixed soon.
All forums are flooded with this problem with the exit from the game due to overheating of the video card.
Do you really believe it’s not the game?
I rolled back the drivers to the previous version, and reduced the simulator settings to the minimum without addons.
I have Radeom RX590 graphic card - and maximum temperature for as 85 C.
Why game crased on 76 C?
Spontaneous crashes - developers, will you fix the simulator ???

Rolled back the drivers to version 531.29 (from official Nvidia cite). No more any CTD’s teel now. Check version of your’s drivers.
