When flying around in The Netherlands I noticed the water level is too high. Everything looks sort of flooded where the waterfront edges should be straight.
Is tweaking around with mesh settings helpful, or is it an adjustment that has to be made by Asobo?
There go the Dutch land reclamation efforts!
Being Dutch… that images does not look strange to me.
I’m Dutch as well, and thats the street I live in. If it would look like that I would get a little nervous…
Right, looks pretty spot on. Rubberlaarzen weer.
But, this is a reported bug on the dev forum. It affects some airports also with underground canals.
I understand Schiphol is technically underwater…
It’s nothing new. Small rivers and streams have always been 2x wider than IRL in FS2020. If they have not fixed it for FS2024 they never will.
I’m quite sure that wasn’t so in MSFS, I would have noticed straight away.
Hi @TheGlobMeister - are you seeing this in 2020 or 2024?
Hi Smothery, this is in 24.
Thanks - tag added !
The water level is also in Germany, for example the river Elbe in Hamburg. The cargo hold floor of the ships is often under water, i.e. the ship has the correct height above sea level, the water level parameter in MSFS is wrong.
