Hi … hope, I chose the right place for that issue. Today I bought LVFR KSAN and did a flight to there from KONT. By approaching RWY 09 via the ILS, I recognized lots of black lines and even very odd looking water - steps in the ocean below my aircraft. I am already using a water fix from fltsim.to and have all world-and city updates installed. What could that be? Is this an isue, that can be solved? Or something, we have to live with? Looks terrible and ruins the overall nice San Diego - area a quite a bit.
I am in MSFS2020 … and know these black lines from many places … as I know, that there is obviously no solution for it. I just wonder, what that step (or wall) in the water on short final RWY 09 might be. This one is really disturbing and truely an immersion - killer. If you folks tell me, that this is a known problem (and no solution for it) ok … I can live with that by using the opposite approach.
If there are people around, who dont have that step in the water, I go on searchig for a solution. As KSAN is one of my favourite places and I really would love to use both approches without getting eye-cancer …
Problem is solved. I use a KSAN water-fix from flightsim.to. Didnt read the manual properly
… there is a subfolder, that has to be removed … now the step in the water is gone. Some black lines in zthe water still appear, but this happens in many places in flightsim and I can live with that quite well. Anyway thanks for your quick reply …
