Can we get the ability to switch off ice visuals again? I really don’t like the way ice is modeled on aircraft, but since the update, the option to turn it off is gone.
I just found a way, open dev mode, there is a slider in options , make it take the visual icing off , cheers

The problem with the dev slider is that it doesn’t stick. So, if we move it to zero, it starts moving back to full.
yeh I have this problem too now, At one point it looked like it was staying there, but now it doesnt…
ok I have a hot fix for you guys 
In the commands list there is one named (windshield de-ice)
Jut set a hot key for it and use it before it starts freezing (like before anything else I guess lol)
There is no command in a cessna 152 or 172 or I have no clue where it would be.
it works for me , im so glad I found this 
if after that it is still freezing in the cab, slam the know back to 0 in dev mode and the visual should remain clear
(I only tried this with visual icing only so far)

Thanks for that- I tried it, as well adding a command for the structural too, but it didn’t make a difference for me. But, I’m in the 320, so the icing problem for me is the ice that shows up on the fuselage and wings.
did it fix the window of the visual ice ? that was the purpose
Nope, not in the airbus, but I haven’t flown anything else to test yet. I’ll let you know.
I tried it on the airbus, it works too for me…
On the wings and fuselage too- I tried it but the ice keeps coming back.
