We also need an intermediate solution when the flight starts. So one where the APU is running and the ADIRS are already aligned at the gate. That would be really nice, so that msn doesn’t always have to start with C&D at the gate when restarting.
Yeah like the turnaround mode in the Zibo. Better yet, it would be nice if it could save the state of the buttons and switches and reload that on the next flight

cold and dark / somewhere in between / with the engines running, ready for pushback.
I’d probably still start cold & dark 90% of the time. But I can see others benefiting from this.
FSX gave us the option upon starting the flight and saved your choice for your next flight.
I thought the APU is running at the gate and ADIRS is ready to program the MCDU and let passengers on board. In order to then set a return flight more quickly from the outbound flight, so reset the situation, time, etc. And not have to do the whole wake-up procedure at the gate.
