The fact that we cant have a peripheral for an at home flight sim because some doodoo head bought it up and and wants money for it.
loop holes people, to beat them at their game we have to play by their personal set of rules.
an electronic simulated forces yoke. or even an open source 3d printed housing to modify existing yokes. I mean a clamp, simple servos. to work the force feed back.

This just really makes me wish I had an engineering degree. I would design it myself from the bottom up!
There will be Naysayers. There’s always someone out there just waiting to tell you that it can’t be done. Aint nobody got time for that.

Just to chime in, I too own a MSFF2 in pristine condition. The very first thing I missed in MSFS2020 was the lack of FF support. (After that, there were many other things, most of which appear to have been relegated to payware.)
Since MS owns the FF patent, I find it difficult to believe that current manufacturers aren’t producing FF devices unless, of course, they are purposely not producing them in favor of some other, higher-priced functionality.
Lastly, with the conversion charge, 14.xx ‘pounds’ for that add-on, nearly a third the price of the sim, is too much.
It’s always about the money.

There are so many Force Feedback posts already. Please consider participating in the following:
Hey guys and girls,
I thought this would be a nice place to gather all the information about FFB.
I have two peaces of information on that:
I asked GamerMuscle in a live stream and he confirmed that he had FFB in the alpha using his Brunner joystick.
FS Force is working on a version of their software, that is compatible with FS2020. See the announcement here on their website.
This will cost us around 35$ I guess, wich is a shame because FSX comes with FFB out of the box.
If any of th…
Hi guys.
I use a X52 hotas for several years now.
But right before this I had a Logitech Force 3D pro and even before this a Sidewinder FFB (The 1…was for FS2000 lol).
But actually…I miss the force feedback.
I know lot of people consider this as a gadget and/or not realistic but they might think it is only “rumbling”…
I remember flying on IL2 and FS2000 and this was so great, feeling the stall and the ground when landing…etc…well the force feedback basicaly.
I am now a VR user for a while …
Hello
Testings video for the MSFS.
[DIY Force Feedback Yoke on the MSFS's Cessna 172 Skyhawk]
Also, You can see that for XPlane 11, Testing videos In my youtube.
This video is webcam seems to have been recorded due to delay.
So, I’m going to record again today and This video is used to the XPForce Plugin for the MSFS version.
But not used to the XP Force 1.0.9728 version. It is an earlier version than XP Force 1.0.9728 version and 1.0.9731 version has been updated on the site,…
Yes I know the MS Sidewinder Force Feedback 2 is an ancient yoke, but works beautifully on every other flight sim with default control assignments. Really surprised about the lack of support for FS2020!
Not having even a default is a huge omission, but its not only about having to map manually - the sensitivity and deadzone of the rudder and axis makes it almost unuseable, and the force feedback doesnt work at all.
UPDATE: Throttle can be set (see below).
UPDATE: Rudder dead zone fixed (see …
My SideWinder Force Feedback 2 joystick get detected but with no control pre-set and ask me to create custom control layout myself . I could not do that myself. Could Microsoft please include the missing control pre-set in their forthcoming update, to stop me and others like me for asking for a refund.
regards and best wishes
Hi all,
I have started some time ago my idea of building a force feedback yoke, or generally speaking, a force feedback device.
I have studied some documentation, which is unbelievably poor and difficult to find, and start looking at some examples, as I never worked with USB -and I can’t say I missed anything.
So I came out with a test platform, someone might remember from another discussion where I participated, I don’t use AVR and all the Arduino stuff, but I work with PIC. So I got a demo …
