We need these planes FIXED

Being a programmer, you should know they don’t hand write all the code, let alone every character. Tons of those “millions of lines of code” are reused libraries, many of which Asobo didn’t write at all.

Hand written by someone sure, but years ago, for a different project, by a different team, then reused where appropriate.

If you didn’t know that, it’s an important lesson to learn as you start your journey into development. Never reinvent the wheel when you can copy/paste work that’s already been done and adapt it to suit your project’s needs.

So agree!! I paid $160 CAN for this sim. I expected the planes to at least be close to real. If I had known before I bought it, what I know now, I would have bought the base version and saved 80 bux…

Quite disappointing and really is quite sad.

No matter what you enjoy doing in this game, the base mechanic is the plane functionality. If this is wrong, nothing can be fun. VR will be scuffed if the planes aren’t enjoyable.

You hit the nail on the head !

What enjoyment do i have to fly and explore when i can’t even taxi with normal power (DA62), or make an approach without sink rate, or even climb because the plane feels 2 times over weighted, or the instruments all red just for normal power setting.

Did they grab a block of code here and there, I’m sure they did. But don’t try to tell me that this is not a complex program, because it is.
