First Asobo needs to update the sim to support helicopters (eta 2022), then third party developers can start developing helicopters for the sim (eta 2023-2030). So lets see that patience that millennials are known for, ok?

Well the tech for helis is not yet prime time, but that has not stopped some modders to make the first flyable heli in fs2020 (as long as you do not hover or do the fancy autorotation etc.) Need the SDK for that one to include the flight dynamics.
You can fly it now. Just buy it for X-plane if you’re in a hurry.

Sure, if you want a hacked, unrealistic version for free, do that. I was assuming the OP wanted a 429 that actually worked properly.
Well, considering we’re talking about “Airwolf”, then no, he doesn’t want a Bell 429. Hence my clarification as a “substitute”.
Second, timber’s Bell 429 is one of the most popular and most downloaded freeware helicopters for X-Plane 11. Pretty safe bet that it works, and isn’t “hacked”.

Yeah…However i tend to keep away from all that.
I only fly what’s ready to be flown the right way and with textures worthy of 4K
