I’m currently using planner.flightsimulator.com to plan my flights, but I’ve noticed that the METAR and TAF weather data hasn’t been updated for quite some time.
I’ve already tried troubleshooting on my end:
Checked multiple airports globally to rule out a local issue.
Cleared my browser cache.
Tried accessing the site via a web proxy.
Unfortunately, the issue persists. Is anyone else experiencing this, or is it a known server-side issue?
I am seeing the same, across the globe. The last update seems to be within the 07-08z range on June 25th. FWIW, METARs are still updating on other aviation weather sites and apps - aviationweather.gov, Navigraph, Skyvector, all good to go.
There are no updates so far. The METAR and TAF reports for all airports are still outdated. I also submitted a ticket on Zendesk, but they only replied with a standard message:
Your issue will now go through the Bugs and Issues Review Process and will be first examined by the QA team before reaching the development teams and Microsoft. Once a fix is ready, it will be included in a corrective patch.
I assume this is just a canned response. For now, I can only rely on SimBrief to get updated weather.Hope they can fix it soon.
Can confirm - thanks, Matt! Now to just unclog whatever pipes are preventing aircraft performance data from flowing from the sim to the web (I know that’s a whole other animal and, sounds like, an MS/Asobo issue)
