Hi,
I use to fly with live weather function. I have no idea how to find weather details on departure airport or arrival airport. All information within the weather details are grey. I would like to have something like metar or any weather summary that give me an idea to plan most likely for arrival as this may change during flight.

I would suggest you to install an app on your phone like aeroweather which is free and will give you real time taf and metar.

You can get all the weather information you desire, METAR and vfr/ifr planning and what not.

As MSFS uses Meteoblue as weatherdata provider, maybe it would be good to use their site for METAR/TAF, etc.: https://www.meteoblue.com/de/wetter/webmap/flughafen-st.-gallen-altenrhein_schweiz_6299723?variable=metar-flight-conditions&level=surface&lines=none&mapcenter=26.6671N46.1865&zoom=4
Howevber, METAR and TAF are published by the airport so it doesnt matter what app/website youo prefer. Windy is still the best weather app IMHO.

Thanks a lot giving me some help and for sure it‘s great stuff you recommended.
I think it’s most likely to change the glasses looking on this great new sim and not trying to copy old behavior.
