In FS 2020 I set up a flight over a distance of between 500 and 1000 nm. I decide to take off in the rain. In the real world I would expect to leave behind the rainy weather and complete the flight in partially clouded or clear skies.
However, in FS 2020 the weather persists for the entire journey. This is not realistic. If I remember correctly the set up weather in FSX applied just locally.
Something more for Asobo to consider, methinks.
LIVE WEATHER
This evening I am at my computer in Sydney, Australia. It is 8pm. I want to make a flight departing Chicago. I can choose the time of day or night and the weather conditions in the World Map screen.
But suppose I want to engage Live Weather. In Chicago it is 2am local time so to be accurate I have to make a night flight. So what I am saying is that to experience Live Weather you have to set up the correct local time wherever in the world you fly. Is that right?
