Weather Idea?

I would greatly appreciate if we could select a few different preset modes that would change dynamically, during the course of a flight. I think Live Weather is brilliant, but I would like to think the preset weather option could be expanded upon so it isn’t the same weather everywhere when chosen.

Feedback and thoughts welcome.

Hi,
So I left EDLP yesterday with live weather in sunshine and landed about 2 hours later in ■■■■ weather in EIDW - what do you want more dynamic?

Yeah I want this too. The live weather I great but I do find myself hunting the world map for intereesting weather fronts.

If I want to fly in the UK, the whole country might be under a thick overcast blanket. Bit boring. Setting custom weather I great but immersion is lost when you have to adjust the sliders to make a change

I think there was a thread a few days ago requesting a similar setup (i.e. they wanted to be able to specify different weather at different airports). I think both of these ideas should be considered since I may want to fly into/out of specific airports at specific times into differing conditions without having to go in and manually adjust the weather while flying.
Might check wishlist and move this thread there.
Regards

They’re asking about dynamic presets not live weather which is dynamic. Right now presets are static, eg don’t fade into “clear skies” from “rain” etc.

What would really be amazing would be to set this via the world map and draw different weather areas. This thread probably belongs in feature request/wishlist.

As I described above, your statement is incorrect.

BTW : Do you have to answer for the thread creator? or even explain his question ???

Your description is about using live weather which is dynamic. They’re asking about static presets which you can make dynamic. You’re statement has nothing to do with what they’re taking about.

While live weather is dynamic, it may not be the dynamics they want, eg rain to clear instead of rain to snow.

That is almost philosophical - and too high for me. I’m sorry
