Webinar: Aerosoft, A Tale of Twin Otters and Xboxes

For those interested in, a Webinar from the Flight Simulation Association, next Saturday 22 May at 1800Z

Aerosoft: A Tale of Twin Otters and Xboxes (flightsimassociation.com)

“With Microsoft Flight Simulator now fully established as the leader on the desktop, we are now looking forward to the simulator running on Xbox. Many traditional simmers do not see this as a logical platform and certainly not one where add-ons will do well. Mathijs Kok, a product manager at Aerosoft, does not agree and sees this as a different but potentially huge market. He looks at the Twin Otter project being done by Aerosoft as an example.”

Thanks for the heads up, and registered.

Love to see their twin otter in msfs2020. was great in fsx

Agree, one of their best airplanes on FSX

And unfinished addon like all other their products.

Seeing some latest addons spawned on the market, not sure Aerosoft is the worst

I disagree, I am very much enjoying the CRJ, only a couple of things are missing but only because they are waiting for Asobo to improve their SDK.

Did anyone watch the webinar ? Any outcome besides the money from Xbox users makes fs2020 going on !
Thanks

I watched it in Replay, interesting overview presented by Mathijs from Aerosoft, about flight sim market (particularly surprising position of players and MSFS today!), modding in MSFS specifities, wasm vs js, pitfalls, and how new Xbox series will require attention to mod efficiently. Also, the future projects and schedules for Aerosoft products
Really showing that Aerosoft will be a strong player involved in MSFS future
Just takes a brief hour to watch this video, worth it IMHO, just register and you can watch the replay
