Hello,
I understand how to load the PMDG from the FMC. But when I open the weight and balance tab of MSFS, the feul quantity automatically matches.
But the payload weight and thus the totalweight of the plane that MSFS reports and the FMC of PMDG reports do not match.
Is this correct? Does this mean that the weight of the PMDG is not correct in MSFS? Or how should I read this mismatch? Or am I perhaps doing something wrong?
I somebody knows, please let me know.
Greetings,
Boudewijn
You shouldn’t use the MSFS Weight & Balance at all. Just set your fuel and payload in the FMC.

Yeah I got that idea also, but what does that mean then, because their is a significant weight difference sometimes of multiple 1000 kilos between what the FMC PMDG says and the weight and balance of MSFS. Is the weight and balance tab information not the important figure, as that is the figure MSFS uses? Greetings.
The PMDG 737s don’t use the MSFS W&B settings at all. It totally ignores them. They will never match.

MSFS, just like FSX and FS9 and all others before it, use the physical centroid (center point) of the aircraft as the datum for the moment arm. This is never how it is done is real aircraft. The normal datum for moments are at the front bulkhead.
